United Methodist Men is a creative, supportive fellowship of men, of all ages, who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, to seek daily his will and to contribute to Christian Service.

The Jones Memorial United Methodist Men’s Club has strived to do what we can to help members of our church and residents in our community.  One of the Men’s Club goals is to work with the scouting program in our community which is a big part of the United Methodist Men’s tradition.  We also work to lend needed assistance to any and all organizations at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and in the East Ridge Community. Some of the yearly events  in which the UMM is involved are:

The Annual Bar-B-Que, has been a tradition for over 31 years. Over those 31 years the Men’s  Club has held this event, they have purchased over 1,200 coats for needy children in the East Ridge area

Christmas Breakfast, which is free of charge and given in appreciation to the congregation for their efforts in making the annual Bar-B-Que such a big success.

Pine Wood Derby Breakfast, which the Men’s Club holds each year for the parents  and children of the scouts  on the day of their Pine Wood Derby.

 We hold our monthly breakfast meeting the second Saturday of each month.  We begin the fellowship by cooking together at 6:30 a.m. and then eating breakfast at 8:00 a.m, usually with a special speaker and business meeting.  Come Join Us !
