For the
children and families who go to Holston Home for help, life can sometimes seem
hopeless. They are looking for vision, longing to find their way to new lives
and new hope. The ministry of Holston
Home began in 1895 when a single woman took a step of faith and founded an
orphanage in Northeast Tennessee. From those early
beginnings, the "Home" has grown to serve more than 400 children and
their families on any given day with family service centers located throughout
East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
FIFTH SUNDAY OFFERING
During this time many
more families and children are suffering
due
to financial difficulties and Holston Home needs your support
more
than ever. Your gift to Holston Home helps to make it
possible
for all children and youth at Holston Home to experience
the
love of God as we share in this Christian ministry. Please be prepared to give generously in the

which will be taken on March 29, 2009.
